Finding Used Curriculum

Anyone who has been to a large curriculum fair will tell you, you
may go planning to look at only a few things, but you will leave
with a long list of things you’d like to buy if you had the
money. What's a homeschool parent to do? Whenever possible buy used
curriculum and use the money you save to purchase things on your
wish list.
Some curriculum fairs include vendors of used merchandise, but
most folks will not have handy access to used homeschool books.
If you are set up to surf the web, you’ll find many used curriculum
and used book sellers. I was surprised at first at the number of
people that have set up used book websites, but when I considered
the number of bibliophiles I know, I decided it wasn’t that
surprising after all. I’ve included a listing here of three
types of online used book and curriculum resources. The curriculum
and homeschool resources list contains sites that have actual curriculum
and textbooks as well as other books and resources. If you would
like to place an ad to sell some of your used books or would prefer
to deal directly with someone doing the same, you need to visit
the sites in the classified ads list. Those sites listed in the
used books sellers and finders have primarily used books as opposed
to curriculum on their websites.
The used book sellers listed in this article are homeschoolers
for the most part. If you still do not find a book, you can also
try the many used book dealers available on the internet by searching
on the terms "used" and "books" at google.com.
