Why Homeschool? - Homeschool Advice

Dear Helping Hand,

I’m convinced homeschooling is best, but I work part time and would have to share the teaching responsibilities with my mother. Could something like that work?

Answer:

It could work. As long as you take primary responsibility for your child’s education there shouldn’t be a problem legally. Check the laws in your state. Practically, it’s very possible. You may choose to divide the subjects (so that you aren’t trying to pick up where she left off).
